CWE-821
Incorrect Synchronization
Extended description
If access to a shared resource is not correctly synchronized, then the resource may not be in a state that is expected by the product. This might lead to unexpected or insecure behaviors, especially if an attacker can influence the shared resource.

| CVE-2022-1931 | Incorrect Synchronization in GitHub repository polonel/trudesk prior to 1.2.3. | HIGH8.1 | 1.95%p78 | 2024-11-21 | |
| CVE-2024-1739 | lunary-ai/lunary is vulnerable to an authentication issue due to improper validation of email addresses during the signup process. Specifically, the server fails to treat email addresses as case insensitive, allowing the creation of multiple accounts with the same email address by varying the case of the email characters. For example, accounts for 'abc@gmail.com' and 'Abc@gmail.com' can both be created, leading to potential impersonation and confusion among users. | CRITICAL9.1 | 0.56%p42 | 2025-06-18 | |
| CVE-2024-7043 | An improper access control vulnerability in open-webui/open-webui v0.3.8 allows attackers to view and delete any files. The application does not verify whether the attacker is an administrator, allowing the attacker to directly call the GET /api/v1/files/ interface to retrieve information on all files uploaded by users, which includes the ID values. The attacker can then use the GET /api/v1/files/{file_id} interface to obtain information on any file and the DELETE /api/v1/files/{file_id} interface to delete any file. | HIGH8.8 | 0.52%p40 | 2025-10-15 | |
| CVE-2024-1902 | lunary-ai/lunary is vulnerable to a session reuse attack, allowing a removed user to change the organization name without proper authorization. The vulnerability stems from the lack of validation to check if a user is still part of an organization before allowing them to make changes. An attacker can exploit this by using an old authorization token to send a PATCH request, modifying the organization's name even after being removed from the organization. This issue is due to incorrect synchronization and affects the orgs.patch route. | HIGH7.5 | 0.39%p30 | 2025-01-10 | |
| CVE-2024-5755 | In lunary-ai/lunary versions <=v1.2.11, an attacker can bypass email validation by using a dot character ('.') in the email address. This allows the creation of multiple accounts with essentially the same email address (e.g., 'attacker123@gmail.com' and 'attacker.123@gmail.com'), leading to incorrect synchronization and potential security issues. | MEDIUM5.3 | 0.34%p25 | 2024-11-21 | |
| CVE-2026-21919 | An Incorrect Synchronization vulnerability in the management daemon (mgd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a network-based attacker with low privileges to cause a complete Denial-of-Service (DoS) of the management plane. When NETCONF sessions are quickly established and disconnected, a locking issue causes mgd processes to hang in an unusable state. When the maximum number of mgd processes has been reached, no new logins are possible. This leads to the inability to manage the device and requires a power-cycle to recover. This issue can be monitored by checking for mgd processes in lockf state in the output of 'show system processes extensive': user@host> show system processes extensive | match mgd <pid> root 20 0 501M 4640K lockf 1 0:01 0.00% mgd If the system still can be accessed (either via the CLI or as root, which might still be possible as last resort as this won't invoke mgd), mgd processes in this state can be killed with 'request system process terminate <PID>' from the CLI or with 'kill -9 <PID>' from the shell. This issue affects: Junos OS: * 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S4, * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S1, * 24.4 versions before 24.4R1-S3, 24.4R2; This issue does not affect Junos OS versions before 23.4R1; Junos OS Evolved: * 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S5-EVO, * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S1-EVO, * 24.4 versions before 24.4R1-S3-EVO, 24.4R2-EVO. This issue does not affect Junos OS Evolved versions before 23.4R1-EVO; | MEDIUM6.5 | 0.23%p13 | 2026-04-17 | |
| CVE-2024-4278 | An information disclosure issue has been discovered in GitLab EE affecting all versions starting from 16.5 prior to 17.2.8, from 17.3 prior to 17.3.4, and from 17.4 prior to 17.4.1. A maintainer could obtain a Dependency Proxy password by editing a certain Dependency Proxy setting. | LOW2.7 | 0.23%p13 | 2024-10-08 | |
| CVE-2023-5088 | A bug in QEMU could cause a guest I/O operation otherwise addressed to an arbitrary disk offset to be targeted to offset 0 instead (potentially overwriting the VM's boot code). This could be used, for example, by L2 guests with a virtual disk (vdiskL2) stored on a virtual disk of an L1 (vdiskL1) hypervisor to read and/or write data to LBA 0 of vdiskL1, potentially gaining control of L1 at its next reboot. | HIGH7.0 | 0.23%p14 | 2026-02-25 | |
| CVE-2024-58132 | In chainmaker-go (aka ChainMaker) before 2.3.6, multiple updates to a single node's configuration can cause other normal nodes to perform concurrent read and write operations on a map, leading to a panic. | MEDIUM4.0 | 0.22%p12 | 2026-04-15 | |
| CVE-2024-58133 | In chainmaker-go (aka ChainMaker) before 2.4.0, when making frequent updates to a node's configuration file and restarting this node, concurrent writes by logger.go to a map are mishandled. Creating other logs simultaneously can lead to a read-write conflict and panic. | MEDIUM4.0 | 0.22%p12 | 2026-04-15 | |
| CVE-2024-58131 | FISCO BCOS 3.11.0 has an issue with synchronization of the transaction pool that can, for example, be observed when a malicious node (that has modified the codebase to allow a large min_seal_time value) joins a blockchain network. | LOW3.7 | 0.22%p12 | 2025-04-08 | |
| CVE-2024-6657 | A denial of service may be caused to a single peripheral device in a BLE network when multiple central devices continuously connect and disconnect to the peripheral. A hard reset is required to recover the peripheral device. | MEDIUM6.5 | 0.19%p9 | 2026-04-15 |
