ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. In versions prior to 6.5.3, the Database Restore functionality does not validate the content or file extension of uploaded files. As a result, an attacker can upload a web shell file and subsequently upload a .htaccess file to enable direct access to it. Once accessed, the uploaded web shell allows remote code execution (RCE) on the server. Version 6.5.3 fixes the issue.

ChurchCRM es un sistema de gestión de iglesias de código abierto. En versiones anteriores a la 6.5.3, la funcionalidad de Restauración de la base de datos no valida el contenido o la extensión del archivo de los archivos subidos. Como resultado, un atacante puede subir un archivo web shell y posteriormente subir un archivo .htaccess para habilitar el acceso directo a él. Una vez accedido, el web shell subido permite la ejecución remota de código (RCE) en el servidor. La versión 6.5.3 corrige el problema.
