Seafile, hasta la versión 6.2.11, siempre emplea el mismo vector de inicialización (IV) con el modo CBC (Cipher Block Chaining) para cifrar los datos privados, lo que facilita llevar a cabo ataques de texto plano escogido o ataques diccionario.
